This rich background provides him with a down-to-earth, empathetic approach that truly sets his practice apart for his patients.A graduate of the esteemed Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina, Dr. O’Brien was educated in the disciplined traditions of "straight chiropractic." Eschewing the fast-paced, impersonal methods seen in many modern facilities, his training emphasized precise and purposeful adjustments. He is committed to unlocking your body’s natural ability to heal by eliminating structural misalignments, aiming for sustainable health improvements rather than providing temporary relief from symptoms.

Serving as our X-Ray Technician since 2015, Suzie Carty handles everything from capturing and processing imaging for Dr. O’Brien’s review to managing initial patient intakes and re-examinations. She plays a pivotal role in the clinic, securing insurance authorizations and coordinating patient coverage details. Suzie also leads our active and passive therapy sessions, providing hands-on education to ensure patients use our specialized equipment effectively. A proud graduate of Morehead State University with an Associate of Applied Sciences in Radiology, she enjoys her free time outdoors camping, hunting, and fishing. Suzie is a devoted family woman who thrives on travel and exploration away from the office.

As our dedicated receptionist, Cindy Farrar manages everything from scheduling and check-ins to record-keeping and insurance verification, ensuring a seamless experience for every visitor. Her warm and inviting personality provides a comforting atmosphere for our patients the moment they arrive. Outside the clinic, Cindy is an avid reader and gardener who cherishes traveling and quality time with her husband and family. Although life took her out-of-state following her initial time with us from 2012 to 2013, we were absolutely thrilled to welcome her back to the Advantage Chiropractic team when she returned to Kentucky in 2021. Her commitment to our patients continues to make a lasting difference.
